Social Media
Social Media is now one of the biggest advertising and marketing techniques. Being able to create interesting content that allows audiences and consumers to interact has become an important way for a company or person to sell their product. From Instagram polls, to TikToks- they all come together to help reach a broader audience.
I have had the opportunity to create quite a few professional Instagram pages and have an in-depth understanding on the platform. I am knowledgeable in the professional actions and insights on the app which focuses on interactions, reach, and  post/profile engagement.
Below I have added examples of my Instagram pages I have made or had a contribution towards.

Last year in 2020, I decided that I wanted to start building my image as a photographer and my immediate thought was to create an Instagram page. Having this page allows me to post my work easily from my phone wherever I am and even take photos on the go.Â
I can also group my work under the highlights so that people can specifically see what they want to see - for example, 'fashion' or 'architecture'.
I use hashtags to broaden my reach so that when a certain hashtag is searched, my posts can be seen. I have also attached some of my personal details such as email so that I am easy to contact.

I currently work as a social media manager for this luxury real estate account owned by Matt Mellor and Summer Newman. This account is fairly new but is building up followers and engagement at a very fast paste due to constant posts of stories, reels, and photographs. When building up an account CONTINUITY and MOMENTUMÂ is key.

One way that I promote my photography page is through my main, personal Instagram account. My following is the largest I have at 1.7K which means when I post a story on my account- a lot more people see it and this is how I gained the majority of my followers on my photography page.
I have a lot of engagement on this account- even from accounts that do not follow me as I appear on their explore page. This is due to my post frequency and post time. Instagram provides an insight as to what time your followers are most active thus telling you the peak time to post.

F0ssilfools is an account that was created as part of a University collaboration project which worked to promote the campaign we created on climate change.
Even though the account doesn't have a large following, the point of the account was to show how we can share the campaign to the public digitally.
